  Obligatory not an engineer. As part of my vanlife prep, I've built a calculator to handle the deflection calculations on long metal posts (because I want a hammock instead of a bed and I need to build a custom stand to fit my layout--let me know if you need/want more details). I was originally looking at 40x40mm extruded aluminum for weight and deflection values I'm getting out of my calculator, but I just ran some numbers on unistrut and... Can someone double-check what I'm seein...

  Edit: Answered as far as being possible, though power draw feasibility is still uncertain. Thanks y'all! -- My current car has an engine block heater, which I love. Leave it plugged in overnight, and in the morning the engine warms up nice and quick in winter. Except the plug (which to my non-expert eye looks like a standard NEMA 5-15P) comes out the front grill of the car. That's ideal in my current situation, where I'm plugging it into an extension cord that&#39...
