I think the best thing Reddit ever did was deciding to charge for their API and blocking a bunch of third party viewer apps because since then I haven't looked at it once. Thank you Reddit for getting me off Reddit โค๏ธ

I had my appointment with my HRT doc today and we gotta talk about something really fucked up that's happened in the Aus medical system I need to do some more research on what exactly has happened but the bulk billing and Medicare rules have changed. For me? It doesn't really mean anything. I got a text and had to click an extra link to confirm I was being treated by X place and it was all sorted. Because I'm an adult with my own goddamn Medicare card But right now there's a yo...

It's kinda surprising to me that Pokemon haven't done their own Tamagotchi/Digimon style virtual pet. There was an Eevee Tamagotchi crossover released in Japan recentlyยน but that's about it ยน ok 2019 that's *kinda* recent

One thing I miss about living on the mountain is the wildlife. Seeing roos and wallabies and kookaburras and snakes and echidnas just doing their thing without a second thought about those pesky humans is beautiful. I could, and did, sit for hours watching the 'burras fish in the dam Kangaroos are hilariously fun to watch too. They have such dopey, lovable faces. The way they bounce through the world at Mach 5 is incredible. But the best thing about watching the roos was when you'd see...

Got chatting with someone at the shops today about Tamagotchis. Her kid got one, kept it alive for a few days and it died. So naturally kiddo says "Here mum it's yours now I'm bored" Mum gets pretty into it and keeps it alive for 7 days. Dad apparently has a laugh at this and gets very boastful saying surely he can beat that His record is 2 days ๐Ÿคฃ

The backyard is cold and dark. A soft gentle rain drizzles faintly through the air. There's no wind and the sounds of cars and horns and sirens buzz softly in the distance. All is quiet and calm on the earth And yet... Atop a tall building there sits a shadow. A tiny gargoyle no bigger than a bread loaf perched at the very edge of the guttering. If you were to sit very still and look very closely you might notice something odd about this shadow. The shadow is moving The shadow is watching

Going from largely living out of bags and my car for years to having a "base" (calling this place home doesn't quite sit right) is a big adjustment... I'm still mostly living out of bags and I keep forgetting I have a kitchen/shower/electricity readily available lol. The goal this week is to actually cook things, use my wardrobe and remember that I have access to shower/hairdryer
