You may have noticed something... This guitar has 8 strings. The normal two middle strings are doubled at an octave like a twelve string... Also, it's a baritone, tuned B to B. The sound has incredible depth, but the doubled octave middle strings bring back any of the punch that might have otherwise been lost. This thing absolutely FILLS a room with sound. I tried to do justice to the sparkle in the wood on the back, but I'm too much of a hack as a photographer. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ #guitar

@TheGreatLlama Is this one yours? If so, how do you like it and what do you find it most useful for? I saw one of these at a music store in LA in I think 2019, and was absolutely intrigued by it, but the more I played it the more limited it seemed to get. At least under my hands, it seemed to be a terrific rhythm, accompniment, or ensemble/padding instrument, but eclipsed by either a 12-string or a standard six-string for most other purposes. I do concur with you about the tone. I find Taylors are often too sparkly and brittle, but down in the bariton range that can be an asset, and the two octave courses really added nice depth.

@TheGreatLlama I would kill for a guitar like that. I would have to. There's no way on Earth I can afford it.
