@sexybenfranklin generally, i use tailscale as my easy way to get into my home network from outside it. for services, it depends on the service. like immich for example i use but don’t even put on the real internet because i’m not interested in using the sharing features yet, so i can just hop on my tailscale VPN if i want to use it outside the network. generally though if you want to expose a service you’re going to need to port map it at your router and/or reverse proxy it
