@joe have MEAA or CPSU said they want that? Asking because sometimes the aim of a strike is to cause workload problems that show how important the workers are, which requires steady demand (common in public service and ngp industry unions). But other strikes are about crashing a day's profit (common in private industry unions). I don't know which one they're aiming for here.

    @keira_reckons @joe Yep ... My thoughts too ... the way they write and speak about the common worker daring to ask for a wage rise shows no empathy ... And I read on Xitter that Marks (not sure who he is) has warned them they may be replaced by AI ... Edited ... Seems he is the ABC managing director ... Hugh Marks

    @keira_reckons there's nothing specific from the MEAA at all as far as I can see, but my first instinct is to not go into a shop when the workers are striking
