@blp when I was in high school, I was an exchange student in France. Before I left a bunch of people told me to make sure and take jars of peanut butter with me as a gift because they didn’t have it typically over there. It was a huge hit. I was astonished that every place didn’t have peanut butter.😂 I the other hand, discovered Nutella while I was over there which wasn’t easily available in the United States at the time. To me that was infinitely better than peanut butter!

    @chefraven I witness an in-law about 10 years ago visit Ireland with a suitcase full of Lucky Charms cereal. I thought this was some ironic joke, but no, Lucky Charms was marked up like crazy over there in the malls and grocery stores.

    @chefraven @blp I remember having Nutella or something like it in Germany back in the 1980s, had some again in UK in 2000s and totally different.
