It looks like there aren't many fans of the Crisafulli Government's “rules forcing e-bike riders to hold a licence, ride at 10km/h on paths, and banning under-16s”.

This law also puts ebike and scoots onto public roads, where they're speed limited to 25 km/hour. I know this will discourage a lot of people from active transport because it's so dangerous. But once the law is in place it's effectively going to impose a 25 km/h speed limit for all motor traffic travelling with ebikes and scoots as well. #QldPol

@ash This state government is the worst in Australia and that's saying a lot when Chris Minns exists and this policy is by far their stupidest. I've never been more annoyed when writing to my local member (and they hear from me a LOT)
