@mauro that sounds cool except for the loss of all media. Why would that happen? Isn’t there a way to migrate this from one server to the next? Even if there are hardcoded URLs to mograph.social they should remain accessible?
(Trying to understand this from a technical pov. I have no idea about how Masto works….)

@compfu well what they told me is that in fact the urls are hardcoded and can’t be ported…I don’t know much more but will ask!

@compfu to elaborate on this (because I know you're as curious as me with this technical things 😁 ), the issue is not our database, but federation in general. The media files will change their cdn address and so they will be broken for all the other fediverse serverse out there.
