Just taking an extra step can reduce bugs and improve efficiency. That lowers costs.
Listending to feedback from your customers instead of fighting them also helps

@manchuck The entire North American economy currently does not care about “long term”. Make all the moneys now. We are both on the side of “quality matters long term” but the people running businesses overwhelmingly do not care because their income and compensation are tied it short-term outcomes.
