  I love being a loser. I have an EV and charge with solar. Rising oil prices because of the #IranWar haven't really impacted my budget much. Yes, everything else is rising, but fuel is not something I worry about. When the US starts having shortages like Russia is currently facing, I won't have to wait days in my car, and then fight to the death for fuel. Be a loser like me

  I'm not someone who likes to post reviews of products or services. I only do it for excptional dis/service. After all the issues we've been having with Guaranteed Rate, we're moving to a new broker. Instead of needing $80k to close, we only need $17k, plus a deduction of the out-of-pocket costs we paid (appraisal, inspection, architect and building permit fees), bringing the closing cost down to ~$11k. I let the sunk cost fallacy delay us getting started and getting a better deal.

  Another No #AI Wednesday for me. Last week worked out so well. The next day, I used fewer tokens and didn't have to waste my time with hallucinations. I attribute that to having structured code, giving the model some clean contexts

  The “If we tax billionaires, they will leave” argument is like saying “If we make murder illegal, then all the murderers will leave”. It’s flawed in a number of ways. But I’ll highlight one. We want them to leave. They don’t contribute to our community. Instead, they are a succubus. They rent apartments and don’t live in them. They prevent us from building the infrastructure we want. So GTFO if you don’t like it.
