@Huntn00 @KimSJ I think it was "save Christmas" in terms of making sure retailers make high profits, rather than in terms of promoting Christianity.

@bodhipaksa @Huntn00 @KimSJ Quite so. However, they're not wrong about Jesus himself holding and promoting values that are at odds with the mammonist profiteers who seem to care more about the bottom line than the people at the bottom.

@bodhipaksa @KimSJ True, but from the political right, this means pushing the preferred religious yoke. The attack on Christmas = an attack on good, faithful, obedient followers of Christ who for a prevalent politically active element appear now to be twisted faux-Christians, CINOs so to speak. But yes, all a means to desired end, Christian Nationalist Fascists in charge. 🔥
