@juliewebgirl@mstdn.social edible fire starter. But I don’t have an apocalypse kit. Unless you count my Inuit in-laws who have survival skills dating back thousands of years.

@juliewebgirl@mstdn.social pet parrot or the high fat content? I knew a big greenwing mated pair of macaws. The male was the only one of a breeder friends parrots strong enough to get into the Brazil nuts. You could watch the muscles in his jaw bunch up as he cracked them. Then his mate would promptly take them away from him and eat them until she had had her fill. Then he got to eat.
