Oh cool - because I turned off &quot;connected experiences&quot; in OneNote forever ago, it&#39;s decided today that my main notebook is &quot;broken&quot; in some way, and it is now in read-only mode and I must copy and paste things into a new notebook. This is for a file that has only ever lived on this computer. I turned &quot;connected experiences&quot; - an option under account privacy - back on, and then off again, and I can edit my notebook again. What in the absolute ever-living ocean-going fuck was that, #Microsoft?

@timixretroplays As ex-OneNote user (2000+ notes) I can only say, export your notes and be done with OneNote. MS clearly doesn't give a damn about it. It's a program that should be awesome if it would just work and had the same feature set on each client (Mac, Win, web... made by different teams who don't talk to each other, I guess?) and weren't tethered to OneDrive.
