@tretron I have actually *only* ever seen clocks tick over from 11:59 PM to 12:00 AM, not once in my life have I seen them stay on PM

@tretron i don't use AM/PM. We only use it to converse with english speaking countries, but can i still vote? :neofox_thinking: 12AM is midnight

@tretron Wait, should not it be 0:00 am? (I'm used to 24h systems so may not get this here. Also in this case it would be the same as in 24hour systems or basically you ha e the same question whether it's 24:00 then, but imho that is wrong too.)

@tretron clocks show the beginning of the period you're in. If a display shows 12:00 during the minute between 12:00 and 12:01 then you are by definition past the instant marking the start of it, so for midday that's PM!

@tretron A better question might have been “If someone tells you to meet them at Wednesday midnight, do you meet them at the Tuesday-Wednesday 12AM or the Wednesday-Thursday 12AM?”
