First fun discovery... despite basically identical packaging and branding, the short drive shaft came with grease and bolts, but the long one came with only grease. Amusing the greese itself came in two different package styles. These are, I believe, "stretch bolts", so I shouldn't really reuse the old ones. Hopefully will be findable locally.

On the plus side both drive shafts do look like a match for the ones I removed. In the end I managed to order almost 100% Febi parts, going for the premium end of budget lol. (I resisted the low prices of Ow Toe Doc's in-house Ridex and Stark brands.) Only non-Febi part here is the HSJ front exhaust mount kit. Today is mainly going to be about inventory, fit check, prep, and work out anything I am missing. Apparently, after lugging the massive box with half a car in it, the front-door Evri man asked if I was a mechanic. 😅 Kat just said "he's fixing his car", I imagine with a shrug and an eye-roll. It's actually kinda funny talking to people at work about it, to them replacing brake pads is already god-level DIY mechanics, they don't quite grasp the driveshaft and all-round suspension replacement as a DIY concept. OTOH they all drive modern cars and most of the fixing they deal with is probably under warranty. Different stokes, horses for courses, beggars can't be choosers, etc.
