@Cognessence by the way, how is oneohtrix point never’s new album? I am getting annoyed with non-BoC updates from Warp so I could not pay attention. Just kidding haha! Because I also got Squarepusher and I am very happy about those updates. I can’t fully get into oneohtrix while I have so much respect for his music. I did listen to and enjoy some of his things in the past. Was looping Cryo so many times. Anyway, in your case, there are so many geographical connections and that’s why your albums and music sound very you and unique.

@elifyalvac@tldr.nettime.org Like you, I respect OPN but couldn't always get into his music. However, for whatever reason I've connected with both 'Again' and 'Tranquilizer' quite a bit more - especially the latest. The "discarded media into feeling" gives a particularly hallucinatory and (positively) calming sense in that newest one. I'm glad you got the new Squarepusher! I'm really enjoying that one; unexpected and satisfyingly dense. 👌 Thanks so much in regards to what you said about my music! That was lovely to hear. Someone else had strangely just said that out of the blue to me today - an Armenian friend who was also talking about how aspects of those musical traditions feed into someone else's music we know. Interesting to think about the ways we might be confluence points for many streams that started long before us.
