@alisynthesis @elifyalvac It's so fun to see this appreciation on here for Röyksopp! Like you both, my entry point was 'Melody A.M' when it first came out. I was at school and it captured my imagination then; kept making my friends listen to it. :D I still love the melodies and harmonies - and still sounds fresh production-wise today imo. And somehow it sounds very "Norwegian". I also like their third album 'Junior' a lot. One characteristic in their first and third albums is that - despite the accessibility and fun - there is some pretty interesting harmonic writing. They leaned into that less later, it seems, but 'The Inevitable End' is still a great listen. 🙏
