...at the time of the recording, and if another recording/rework is made of that same track, it becomes another record of their lived experiences at a different time.
When you build up enough music output, you are essentially creating a historical record, a heritage if you will, of you as a person connecting you deeply with that specific time and space, but also invariably with the present, whenever that music is played.

@CCirco @Cognessence @thoker hear, hear! For my part, I've been trying to make my relationship with pieces of music more about flow, performance, execution, and enjoyment, and less about completion. It's not helping me get my album finished, but I'm feeling more fulfilled! 🤣 Next step: bring other people in my community into the process. (Working on ways to do this that don't feel like part of the music-as-a-commodity system!)
