@Chancerubbage yeah, apparently a tech journalist complained about not getting enough engagement on Mastodon and getting hostile pushback when they wrote nice things about AI. And a Concerned Important Person quoted them and said, oh noes, is Mastodon an echo chamber? AI-advocating journalists getting pushback instead of engagement is exactly like black folks getting driven away by racism! And there was much eye rolling, pointing and laughing. That's what I know of it anyway
