I mean it does seem churlish, this call out. Because it wasn't only this guy who said nothing at the time. There were another two men sitting there, wordlessly. But I deserved support. From one, any, all of them. Maybe the reason this guy said something eventually was because he wished he'd stepped in at the time. So. Maybe next time, my dude.

@Tattie the only people I've seen call others out on the bus are skinny old aunties. Don't know what makes people who are supposed to be macho so inclined to just be bystanders when anything happens on public transit.
