A supercut of CHSJ-TV's messy switching to and from CBC's feed (clips separated by dips-to-white).
In the second clip, you can see they were late and briefly began showing the commercials CBC was running. In the third clip, they were late and cut off the news anchor.
In the fourth clip I *think* they wouldn't have meant to show the CBC ID, hence the cut away before it completely finished.
In the final clip, they cut off a line of dialogue on Maude.

Time base correction somewhat reduces how bad these switches look. Here's what it looks like watching the tape directly.

@themaritimegirl Also CBC Winnipeg was always bad at timing the local commercials. You would also catch the beginning or end of something.
