And we still have pieces of shit toy OSes, it's absolutely incredible. They're more of less laptop powerful and we still don't have serious OSes that bloom into a full OS if docked (except maybe these Linux phones I keep hearing about?), what a fucking tragedy

@coolboymew@shitposter.world @condret@shitposter.world I would love a portable (fits in a pocket) computer with the form factor of a laptop (keyboard and screen in clamshell) that can also make phone calls. I wonder how easy it would be to type on? Could have a keypad like a dumbphone on the outer portion for phone calls and integrated 3rd party app calls (so you can use E2EE). Bonus points if it has one of those high-refresh-rate eink screens that I vaguely remember exist now. #techideas

@coolboymew @condret That's not how you make money, if you make something good on the first release it will never be enough for the consumers for the second third etc... release.
