@lzg@mastodon.social Without those "outdated or weak arguments", in what way is using LLMs immoral? The environmental one was the strongest I could think of. How is it outdated or weak? "Stochastic parrot" is an argument about effectiveness, not morality. And copyright is illegitimate anyway. If AI manages to do away with it entirely, that would be a win. @autonomousapps@mstdn.social @anildash@me.dm

Prairie dogs apparently have specific predator alarm calls for different species and appearances, and can even supposedly make names for objects they have never seen before. For example, they have different calls for coyotes, dogs, and humans, and can communicate what colour shirt a human is wearing and whether they are carrying a gun.
