Fictional coding problem: You need to wrap numerous gifts, each gift is a box with x y z dimension. Calculate how many paper rolls you need.
Real life problem: You need to wrap numerous gifts. Each gift is randomly shaped, not in a perfect box, no one gift is the same. Figure out how to actually wrap all of these gifts.

To me, gift wrapping is art and craft. I don't have art talent but when opportunity arise, I want to be able to express what little art talent and crafting skill I have. So I like spending time wrapping gifts, not just for its functionality, but to fulfill my own personal passion. 😊🎁

@mariatta Consider also you may waste 20% of the paper by being plain old clumsy.
