@eldersea My grandmother likes playing the lotto, which is fine. But I limit her to $5. And I'm playing the crypto ponies, but also limit to $5. stocks, crypto, the lotto, social media and many casual phone games all hijack the brains reward system. And they want that. I'm Heathen and Lord Odin warns about replacing reason for entertainment. I go to Vegas and play nickel slots and order free wine till I'm puking. Go back to my room - only lost $5. That's replacing entertainment for reason.

When you know *how* to prompt it, not *what* to prompt it, it makes your smarter by around 22-25 IQ points. For people who are of a lower IQ, this only lowers their IQ, even if they understand how to prompt it correctly. That's how this fourth wave of AI works.

@eldersea Movies? I guess some are effectively 2+ hour product placements but that feels kind of narrow. Or gambling because half the movies that exported out the US kind of suck these days from being over-produced slop so if you get your $30 ticket worth at the theatre is up to chance.
