@HelenLockhart@mastodon.scot I was looking at it on the Organic Maps app to see how much more northern we’ve cycled and it did ask me if I wanted to download the “North of Scotland” map, so apparently Skye does count 🤭

@HelenLockhart@mastodon.scot Years ago when we were doing a tourism job in the N of Highlands someone did a ‘mystery shopper’ in the then Tourist Board centre in Inverness and was told to go to Skye ‘because there is nothing to do or see north of that’.

@HelenLockhart@mastodon.scot I'll raise you "the Highlands start at Loch Lomond"... I've heard it said many times. However Glengoyne distillery on the outskirts of Glasgow calls itself a Highland distillery! If I could be arsed I'd go edit their wikipedia entry.
