Two small things to help make the world a little better, for folks who already try:
RSPB urging people to take away their bird feeders because of the risk of spreading avian flu (and other diseases) - something a lot of people do to try to help bird populations. It's nuanced, so look into their advice.
Marine Conservation Society asking people to stop eating mackerel and cod as the populations are crashing - mackerel having long been one of the more sustainable choices for flesh eaters.

@amberfirefly@mastodon.green I use Virkon solution to disinfect my feeders and bird table regularly which also helps. Have to let it dry before using again.
