@amberfirefly@mastodon.green I use Virkon solution to disinfect my feeders and bird table regularly which also helps. Have to let it dry before using again.

@tartanroots@mastodon.scot looks like they're saying to essentially stop for summer, maybe just a bit of scatter feeding mealworms etc if you want to, but cleaning them the rest of the time I know is a good thing. Virkon is full on! Never heard of anyone using it outside labs :) I used to use it when I worked on amphibian viruses to disinfect everything in between pond visits.
