Does anyone have any suggestions for UK towns that are okay for cycling? 🚴
I'm getting fed up of consistently bad cycling experiences around Manchester. I've had two incidents that really needed reporting to the police in the last month and could really do with living somewhere that has less drama.

@linuxlucy@mastodon.org.uk nice place around our way, but it is the other end of the country - Exeter. The city itself is decent to cycle around, and for larger cycles there's a cycle path all the way down both sides of the River Exe, to Exmouth and Dawlish.

@linuxlucy@mastodon.org.uk Cambridge and the surrounding villages do have some cycling infrastructure. It is very expensive to live and we couldn't afford to buy a place near Cambridge. We currently live about 50 mins away by bike, but most of the route is offroad on a decent sized cycle path.
