The spike in gas prices we see had nothing to do with immediate supply, it was speculation on what the supply would become. Which they would know had they been paying any amount of attention during COVID. Also this is only a two week 'ceasefire' to negotiate terms that I doubt anyone will agree to and Israel will probably violate.

@Rudolf_von_Goldenbaum these people are claiming the wrong sort of victory. The hysterics on this issue have been absolutely girlish but the victory is that Trump is unpredictable. Unserious is the default correct prediction. But I doubt any of them guessed this Iran thing was going to happen to begin with. Making enemies of people making the wrong reads is silly too.
