The spike in gas prices we see had nothing to do with immediate supply, it was speculation on what the supply would become. Which they would know had they been paying any amount of attention during COVID. Also this is only a two week 'ceasefire' to negotiate terms that I doubt anyone will agree to and Israel will probably violate.
