@797@merveilles.town Apparently they've been in unicode since 2010, and the Major Arcana from Tarot have been in since 2014; but no font on my Mac supports the Tarot Major Arcana. (no bridge scoring card, which i regard as "one of the standard playing cards")

@797@merveilles.town Somewhat oddly (?), non-French suits are supposed to be handled as font variations, though I’m not aware of a font handling German or Spanish/Portuguese suits.

@797@merveilles.town There are also dice: ⚀ ⚁ ⚂ ⚃ ⚄ ⚅ And chess pieces: ♔ ♕ ♖ ♗ ♘ ♙ ♚ ♛ ♜ ♝ ♞ ♟ A hazard with the the chess ones is that fonts on different systems don't always make while/black distinction look the same
