Back from dentist; had it looked at, had an X-ray; the obvious solution would have been post & crown, but apparently the roots aren't in good enough condition for that, so I have to go back next week for them to take impressions. Then at the end of the month I have to have it EXTRACTED (AAARRRGGGHHH!!!), and will be fitted with a small plate with One Tooth on it.
