hey all #codeberg folks, codeberg currently need helps with the following: we wish to deploy a latest version of our "membership registration form" with lots of new information (https://join.codeberg.org), but we are waiting for translations by the community. you can view a more recent version and compare here: https://join-test.codeberg.org if you have a couple of minutes of time, it would really help a lot: https://translate.codeberg.org/projects/codeberg/ev-registration-server/ source code: https://codeberg.org/Codeberg-e.V./registration-server

@n0toose Wow surprised at the German being so low, I thought I could help with the Swedish but that's already done owo I'll go check out a few German ones to translate then!

@n0toose Some questions about translating 'join': - is it meant 'to join' as in how to join codeberg or is it a direct invitation as please join codeberg ? - in the latter case, and for other part of the text, would you use the direct form or the polite form (using 'tu' or 'vous' in French, Du or Ihr in German). I would follow framasoft example and use 'vous'.

@n0toose it's not like any Dutch coder *wants* a translation. Serving them the Dutch version of a page is usually about as appreciated as gifting them a knockoff product that costs as much as the one in original quality and will be followed by an attempt to undo the switcharoo The translation status says 34%, so like, 34% are now being presented to Dutch users in lower quality? That's probably a good stopping point, thanks 😅

@n0toose Is there a reason this needs such broad access?
