@nikitonsky And the guy promoting the locomotive is inhaling very toxic smoke.

@nikitonsky one coal-burning steam engine per passenger is also a good metaphor for the energy efficiency of LLMs

@nikitonsky Look closer. The locomotive is waiting to run them over. #TrollyPtoblem

@nikitonsky its either that or they are about to be ran over by some dipshit on an AI train, which sadly also makes sense

@nikitonsky they arent wearing any high-visibility vests (as required for safety), the space on the footplate was used to store miscellaneous gears so you cant actually put fuel in the firebox, the line isnt even built where the people are and if it was they shouldnt be in front of a locomotive unless the line has been blocked, the bloke sitting in the chair on top of the locomotive will be breathing smoke and steam for the entire journey if they actually went at a reasonable speed, and likely wouldnt fit in most loading gauges (and thus would get a very rude awakening if going under a bridge, into a tunnel, or into an area with OHLE). also electric traction is more efficient

@nikitonsky of course they've got to pull it, the driving rods are going to the axles. It's been built wrong on purpose

@nikitonsky@mastodon.online And of course, the locomotive looks like crap with all sorts of nonsensical extraneous details.
