Today I watched the highly-rated cult comedy 'Hundreds of Beavers'. Being a fan of the creative and quirky generally, I expected to like it, possibly even love it, but certainly more than a couple of friends who had seen it previously and refused to commit beyond, "It's an experience. You should at least give it a go." So I did. Oh. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ #films https://letterboxd.com/civilmadman/film/hundreds-of-beavers/

@imalcolm yeah. Same. I didn't even finish it. Not sure how far in I got. Not far. I RARELY quit movies too, I watch a ton. But despite LOVING Looney Tunes too, not for me. Oh and you're spot on. Should've been a short.

@troberts Hehe, ah it would be a boring world if we all had exactly the same tastes in everything! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I briefly hit a sweet spot early on where the Looney Tunes-ness kind of gelled for me and I thought, "Yeah, loving it!" but sadly it didn't last. And yes, re:that videogame slant, esp. point-and-click adventure aspect of collecting/applying objects and gradually working out solutions to things like catching the rabbit (e.g. rocks in holes, thwarting racoons) but it just didn't work for me.

@imalcolm Allow me to say "to write NEGATIVE review of MOVIES that DESERVE it is a DUTY ! A MUST ! DO NOT feel bad for doing it !!" ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜… I have a thread in a forum "NOT recommended movies" where I review all movies that none-should-spend-any-time-watching .. there aren't many but those in people MUST know about them BEFORE they may be tempted to watch them !
