I would like to practice longer walks, around ten miles, in preparation for a possible walking holiday next year. Does anyone familiar with the Fife region know of any good walks that don&#39;t involve walking along roads without a footpath? I don&#39;t drive, so accessibility by train or bus is essential. Any suggestions gratefully received! #Fife #Scotland #walking

As @JackTheCat@mastodon.scot said, the Fife Coastal Path can be broken down into sections about the right length for you. All the towns and villages along the route can be reached by bus. @AbramKedge@beige.party My son has been using the AllTrails app to find walks near him. I have no idea if it would be any help to you, but I thought I would mention it, just in case.

@AbramKedge@beige.party I walked part of the Fife Coastal path a couple of weeks ago, and it was glorious. Lots to see, and the public transport links were great. We went from Inverkeithing to Aberdour.

@AbramKedge@beige.party You should be able to do sections of the Fife Coastal Path. My wife did this whilst training for a 300 mile walk she did a few years ago.
