Needing to break digital handcuffs before the software even runs is not freedom either.

@Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com As long as the host runs in free software, it's not a big deal. You can debug everything. That's how you can run emulators from MAME/NES/SNES/etc without even understanding the code of each game, you already know how the console internal works.
