In a meeting with a Miro board to be used for ... something I can't quite work out. Even once I found that switching to vanilla Chrome would fix the horrible lagging, it's not a fun or easy experience.

At a #jazz jam depping on guitar tonight. The drummer complained that I wasn't giving him a strong enough indication of the 1. But, there was a bassist present... I suspect the drummer normally listens to the manouche guitarists playing 4-to-the-bar who couldn't make it on that occasion rather than the bass player. Scandalous!

I've seen a lot of people talk about #markdown for taking notes and various other things, which is definitely neat - more open data is a good thing - but the topic of different dialects of MD (flavors) doesn't come up as often as it should IMO. Life was so busy that I'm only now getting around to releasing the EP I wrote whilst I was away in Komodo. Well......let me tell you, past me was a right inconsiderate asshole, because all the footage he shot and pictures he saved were all saved in vertical, despite holding the phone horizontally when shooting. Add that to the list of why I hate smartphones, and lesson learnt - just use a proper camera next time!
