I've never been happier that a drive is under warranty. I bought 4 (16TB) new in 2022 for ~$300 each. Now, they're going for ~$700 per drive. I've liked the WD Red Pro line (mostly for the warranty) but I don't know if I'd buy them again. This is my second drive to fail in ~4 years. #nas #ai #linux #selfhosting

current blue archive event is about the student who's an adult woman transforming into a loli in order to pretend she's a kindergartener and also the 17yo girl who is short and flat changing into a one piece swimsuit in order to pretend she's also a kindergartener in order to infiltrate a gang whose members are actually kindergarteners
-
I feel like I'm either missing something that was explained in this event story or just the overall blue archive lore but they have non-students in combat and I thought they kinda just... took normal damage from bullets? like these aren't the android people these are the bipedal cat and dog people but they're armed with guns and fighting off students with assault rifles

I was thinking about the feasibility of making an online character sheet/TTRPG facilitation application or something and then got tempted by the idea of writing a TTRPG-style twine game and then I thought "what kind of system can I build" and my first thought was "traditional text-based dungeon crawler" followed by "public transit molestation simulator"

Oh man, I've already been stressed about going to #nttw10. Then something came up today to make me think I can't go. Ahhh!!!

I watched the #dpa2026 at #nttw10 on YouTube. Just had to comment on how dapper @mickylindlar looks! 🤩 Makes the fomo even worse 😅

Question for @Thorsted and others who might know. Is there anyway to tell if an AppleDouble resource fork is definitely not useful? I'm testing recognition of "unnecessary" or broken files, and my _.DS_Store was identified as an AppleDouble resource fork and kept (unlike a Thumbs.db, which would be removed). My understanding was that DS_Store is the Thumbs.db of Apple, right?
