The last three months really highlight just how widespread the unusually warm sea surface temperatures are found. In addition El Niño, there are several large marine heat waves, with one of the largest departures still across the North Pacific. Girl, you’re so fine, I’d do anything for you. I would fight a fair-sized agricultural beast-of-burden. Or a combine harvester, assuming I was given a mech suit. A specialised mech suit, of course, with the reinforced feet, because those things will come at you low down. Actually - and I’m not proud of it - I would probably take quite a psychological approach, because combine harvesters have a complex relationship with their own multi-faceted identity, which I would use to my advantage and se...

Any UK / European mycologists on here? Found this growing in our Sussex UK garden. Think it might be the very uncommon: CROWN-TIPPED / CANDELABRA fungus Artomyces pyxidatus Although I accept it could just be Upright Coral (Ramaria Stricta), but I'm not convinced on it. Have tried specialist app ID as well as general AI. No book here to consult. Any ideas? #mycology #fungus #fungi #shrooms #mushrooms #nature #wildlife #garden #alttext

Or the scale of the fine can be expressed as a percentage of the assets and revenues, to make the fines genuinely dreadful. Never mind right sizing the fines. I keep operating from the assumption that we are dealing with largely reasonable people who have a bad take and are correctable. Make guillotines great again. No new taxea, no fines, no jails, straight to the public square guillotine with this level of malfeasance.

I just saw an AI generated slop entry to #Inktober and I can’t express how disappointed and sad that makes me. There is a time and place for every tool. It’s not now and not here for that one.

@darkor_LF Hola!
