【あらすじ】 学生時代の友人たちと休暇を楽しんでいた僕。 友人のひとりが、近くにある無人の廃墟に行ってみようと言い出す。 ところが内部を探索していたところ、地震が起き、施設に閉じ込められてしまう。 さらに殺人事件が発生し、一同は極限状況に置かれることになる。 【感想】 こんなに後味の悪い小説を読んだのは久しぶりです。 驚愕の結末……という謳い文句でしたが、この展開はまさに予想外。 殺人事件のほかに、水没しつつある施設からの脱出も問題となります。 ひとりを犠牲にすれば他の全員が助かる。 ならば、殺人事件の犯人に生贄になってもらおう……。 そんな恐ろしい選択を迫られます。 スリリングで緊張感ある読書体験でした。 極限状況下にもかかわらず謎解きがロジカルなのも良かったです。 正直人を選ぶ作品かなと思いますが、気持ちよく裏切られたい方、ダークな雰囲気の作品が読みたい方におすすめです。
