Yesterday's #BandcampFriday haul was relatively modest. It would have been more/worse, but a number of releases I tried to buy repeatedly failed to accept payment, but others worked with the same payment details. Anyone else have that? Menschen, die "ACAB" für eine vertretbare Meinung halten, kommen hoffentlich auch nie auf die Idee die Polizei um Hilfe zu rufen. Kein Verständnis meinerseits für so eine Einstellung. Und die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass ich hier so jemanden blocke ist sehr hoch. Und nein - das Argument, man sei rassistisch wenn man Polizisten nicht hasst, das zieht nicht. Weil es Blödsinn ist.

On Thursday I watched this tarāpunga (NZ Red-billed Gull) on the edge of the ocean repeatedly doing a slow shuffle dance in the wet sand. It would shuffle its feet to make a wet puddle then stop and eat whatever little invertebrates rose to the surface. Then it would do its dance steps again.
