Attended the #WriteHive 2026 presentation by @Mari_Ness@wandering.shop on 'Popular #Poetry: Why the Forms Work and What's Next', which was moderated by @historyneverwas@wandering.shop. Lots of interesting & entertaining insights! Also attended the Guest of Honour #interview of Carmeline Melchior by Patchree Jones. Very good on the need for more diverse #representation in speculative literature (and literature in general).

Attended two panels and a workshop so far today at #WriteHive 2026. The first panel was 'Predicting the Future: Where Science Fiction Could Explore Next'. This was moderated by @adriabailton@wandering.shop and included the panellists Robert Jeffrey II, @cristinajurado@mastodon.world and @valerievaldes@wandering.shop. The 2nd panel was 'Fantasy as Social Commentary' which was moderated by @JPohlmanWriting@wandering.shop, Rose Black, Shepard DiStasio, Julie Lew, Annie McCann & Marve.
