This speaks volumes about the inconsistency between the interests the #US proclaims in its #NationalSecurity strategy & the policies it pursues in the #WesternHemisphere.
#LatinAmerica & the #Caribbean need neither aircraft carriers patrolling their waters nor punitive #tariffs. What we lack are reliable & predictable partners. While the US is closing off its #market, other countries have stepped forward as alternatives, with a positive agenda capable of fostering economic & social development.
