Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, sind wir zu dem Schluss gekommen, tags.pub nicht zu sperren, und dass jeder Nutzer selbst entscheiden kann, ob er die Instanz blockieren möchte?

Ich habe schon die ganze Domain tags.pub blockiert, um diese ganzen scheiß Boost Bots die dort alle laufen los zu werden. Die Boosten mich immer noch. Ich will das nicht. Warum wird die Blockade der ganzen Domain ignoriert? Muss ich diese Hunderte von Drecksbots wirklich alle einzeln blockieren?
Oder können wir die Instanz einfach mal aus dem #Fediverse schmeißen?
Kann man irgendwie einen generellen Complain gegen so eine Instanz machen?

I want to share a workaround for Mastodon users who get boosted by #tagspub bots but don't want the notifications: you can't yet turn off bot notifications in Mastodon, but you can filter notifications from people who don't follow you. This will catch all the tags.pub bots -- they don't follow anyone.

It's interesting reading the nodeinfo for #tagspub. We've seen ~320,000 hashtags over the last 3 month. Of those, 182,000 have been used in the last 30 days. The rest? I don't know. Honestly, it seems like an awful lot of hashtags! #serverstats

Da gerade Unsicherheit herrscht:
Der Bot tags.pub kann auf Zuruf Accounts anlegen, die bestimmten Hashtags aus dem ganzen Fediverse boosten.
Wer etwa dem Account @meermittwoch folgen würde, bekäme alle Tröts mit diesem Hashtag #meermittwoch in die Timeline geboostet, auch die, die die eigene Instanz noch gar nicht kennt.
Es ist also eine gute Hilfe, wenn Interesse an bestimmten Hashtags besteht.
Ein Opt-out ist möglich.
Der Bot tut meines Erachtens nichts Böses, er ist gerade für Leute auf kleinen Instanzen sinnvoll, die so mehr Tröts zu bestimmten Hashtags angezeigt bekommen.
Zugleich entdeckt eins so eventuell neue Accounts zum Folgen, auf die eins sonst nicht stoßen würde.
Eine Alternative ist relay.fedi.buzz mit Accounts wie @tag-meermittwoch , denen eins folgen kann. Es ist dasselbe Prinzip.

This bot is already combining logic, has multiple 'profle logic' tags. Dunno if "NoBots" is also already common protocol-decaying practice.
Maybe a solution might be that an #ActivityPub bot actor - OT: which I'd personally perhaps had chosen to be Application, not Service actors - would have a botFlags property. Simple to implement, and #FEP that.
More involved but also much more versatile might be a "Botiquette" as:Profile, or even a bots:Botiquette type, and a namespace to register them at, and where others may find what they mean and how they operate exactly.
