Barn Swallow Fledgelings
Even with a long lens, I aim to give new bird parents a wide berth- but I swear, this year, bird families are insisting on setting up next to me to demand their photos be taken. These swallow parents corralled their little guys my way, and I chose to believe they chose me as their noble protectorate. (Yes, I know it was really that I was near the sunny warm spot with lots of bugs to eat). This is my second photo from the swallow visit, which actually shows remarkable restraint on my part, as I probably snapped a thousand. 😊
