Useful, reality accepting approach by @gnome@floss.social for Gnome extension developers: https://blogs.gnome.org/jrahmatzadeh/2026/07/27/ego-ai-reference/ The blog comment on using the AGENTS.md format is dead on point. Might even turn this into a skill or a non-llm based/deterministic linter or rules for an existing linter. Someone even made a Gnome extensions profiler if I remember correctly. Sure, some people will generate bad extensions still. Just like they do right now.
