So after one frenzy #Emacs Saturday, earlier today the LLM commit has been removed from the Emacs git log. Thanks to the Emacs maintainers and #Savannah admins for handling this swiftly. Hopefully this never happens again. https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2026-07/msg00398.html

So there's an increase in property taxes in a town in my area, and there's a lot of concern because of state law governing how it's advertised. That's not what I'm posting about. I'm posting about the "local" news channel that did a story on it. Complete with some video from some city meeting, and some footage around the town. But they also included what's clearly stock footage of "suburban area." It includes some McMansions and *mountains*. Folks I live in coastal Georgia. The nearest mountains are hours away. #Savannah #News
