Agi: Settantenne soffoca suocera di 97 anni nel Padovano
AGI - Una donna di 97 anni, affetta da diverse patologie, è stata soffocata dal genero di 70 anni, con il quale conviveva: è accaduto nel Padovano nel comune di Saonara, in provincia di Padova. Al momento del delitto, i due erano soli in casa, situata nella frazione di Villatora.
Secondo le prime informazioni, l’uomo avrebbe ucciso l’anziana ponendole un sacchetto sulla testa, dopo che la donna aveva manifestato un’esigenza di carattere sanitario. La 97enne era accudita dalla figlia e dal genero.
La telefonata al 112
Secondo quanto riferisce PadovaOggi, sarebbe stato lo stesso uomo a telefonare al 112, dichiarando di avere soffocato la suocera mentre si trovava da solo in casa con lei. La chiamata è stata ricevuta dalla centrale operativa dei carabinieri di Piove di Sacco. L’operatore avrebbe mantenuto il settantenne al telefono fino all’arrivo dei militari della stazione di Legnaro e del Nucleo operativo e radiomobile.
I rilievi nell’abitazione
La donna è stata trovata priva di vita nella camera da letto. Nell’abitazione sono intervenuti anche il medico legale e il pubblico ministero di turno Marco Brusegan. I rilievi sono stati affidati ai carabinieri di Piove di Sacco e al Nucleo investigativo del Comando provinciale.
Il trasferimento in carcere
Il settantenne avrebbe collegato il gesto a una situazione familiare resa difficile dal peggioramento delle condizioni di salute dell’anziana. Si tratta però della sua versione, che dovrà essere verificata dagli investigatori insieme a ogni altro elemento raccolto nell’abitazione. L’uomo è stato trasferito nella Casa circondariale di Padova ed è a disposizione dell’autorità giudiziaria.

The Call to 112
As reported by PadovaOggi, it was the same man who called 112, stating that he had suffocated his mother-in-law while alone in the house with her. The call was received by the operational center of the Carabinieri in Piove di Sacco. The operator kept the seventy-year-old on the phone until the arrival of military personnel from Legnaro station and the Nucleo operativo e radiomobile (Operational and Radio Mobile Unit).
The Investigation at the Residence
The woman was found dead in the bedroom. The forensic doctor and the on-duty public prosecutor, Marco Brusegan, also intervened at the residence. The investigation was entrusted to the Carabinieri of Piove di Sacco and the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command.
Transfer to Prison
The seventy-year-old linked the act to a family situation made difficult by the worsening health condition of the elderly woman. However, this is his version, which must be verified by investigators together with all other evidence collected in the house. The man was transferred to the Padua Circumscription Prison and is at the disposal of justice authorities.
